Hello and Welcome to the new year at Links are Blue. -- This is the almost weekly newsletter from Joe. I sorta run these sites. Some of you know me pretty well and others know me from ebay and various conventions around the country.
As you all know by now I sell a lot of links and also do a good bit of SEO ... Search Engine Optimization... work. I don't always hold true to the conventional SEO practices but sort of go my own way. So if your looking for something a bit different I may be the guy to talk to.
This weekend I decided to expand a bit what I had been doing mainly because BBSERVE.NET is getting on everyones nerves. LOL But WOW is it cooking. The spiders are eating it alive. YES... there are still some test text links available... payable through Paypal to this email address... joed@joed.com only 99 bucks.
ANYWAY... I digress again. The purpose of this newsletter today is to announce a Blog I created. No... not on my blog site but on blogspot.com at http://joesmakingmoneyonthenet.blogspot.com/. I just can't seem to stop myself from using keywords in site names. Thats a bad habit. The purpose of this blog is for EVERYONE who gets this newsletter to post there how they are making money on the net, what search engine tactics are working for them, great SEO tools and anything they may have been thinking about doing and just haven't gotten around to it. Any really good affiliate programs they are using and just a general discussion of what works, what makes money and what doesn't. I will also be posting these newsletter there and any new tools, links, and other items that I feel will be of interest. So lets see your your story there.
In this weeks issue:
System News at Free Text Links. -- Take a look at the site I now have all the standard link and seo items for sale with a good description of the items. I also have added 20 new specialty sites you can see there that I will be selling links on each page of. If one of the industries fits you stop in and get a set of links now while they are new and before the price goes up. Each site has approximatly 75,000 pages. The special test pricing is only 49 bucks a year for links on all the pages other then the default page and the admin sections. The new sites are:
If you have the time stop in and take a look around. I plan on putting up 20 more sites this coming week. If you are looking for a specific speciality site for links let me know and I can put one up that fits your needs.
Ebay -- I haven't been listing any links now on ebay because it seems that when I do someone reports me as a link farm from there. I caution you if you are selling links there do NOT give anyone a text file of the sites as they will try and get them banned from the search engines.
Article Server -- This is almost amazing. We are now up to roughly 2 million articles in our database. They are all full text indexed. We are now in the process of getting rid of the duplicates and are very very close to making this into a product we will be selling soon. Anticipated pricing is going to be 55.00 per month per domain. At one point last week I believe the programmer who designed the system told me my sites alone had pulled 500 articles in the past 10 seconds without even putting a bit of a drain on the servers. So as soon as the duplicates are gone there we will be offering that as a service on a test basis.
My Newest Bright Idea -- Well here it is. I will be testing it later this week. Everyone says that if you LINK out to what the search engine consider a BAD NEIGHBORHOOD that they will give you a penalty. SO ..... What if i link out to a GOOD neighborhood? I am going to take 10 domains or so. Put them up with the same type of content I normally use but include in the links ones back to Google, Dmoz, MSN and the other PR8 and above search engine sites. I wonder what that will do... will they REWARD ME? I dont mean adsense... but regular links to the GOOD sites. We shall see.
This weeks tasteless joke -- A Mets fan, a Braves fan, a Yankees fan, and a Red Sox fan are climbing a mountain. On the way to the top, each is arguing about how loyal they are to their team and what they would do for that team.
As the climb gets higher, the wagers increase. Upon reaching the top, the Mets fan shouts, "This is for the Mets!!!" and hurls himself off the top of the mountain.
Next the Braves fan yells, "I love Atlanta....This is for you Braves!!" and he, too, jumps off the top.
Suddenly, the Red Sox fan screams, "This is for EVERYONE!!" and pushes the Yankee fan off.
